Away Golfing Events
All away events require online sign ups. Click the type of event to reach upcoming sign ups.
Players customarily wear the Stanford "uniform" and nametag to away events.
AWAY EXCHANGES: Exchanges provide a "free" opportunity for our members to play at the other 8 participating Peninsula clubs. No greens fees are charged; however costs for tournament fees, lunch, and carts apply and players are expected to stay for lunch. A non-refundable check is required in advance to sign up. Uniforms and name tags are worn.
OPEN DAYS: WNHGA-sponsored opportunities to play at the 50 Northern California member clubs. No greens fees are charged, but players pay for luncheon, sweeps, and carts if required. Participation in these fun events is highly encouraged. Sign-up sheets are posted several weeks ahead. Uniforms and name tags are worn.
INVITATIONALS: Many local clubs send open invitations to one-day guest tournaments that include prizes and a luncheon. A fee is charged and sign ups are required. Uniforms and name tags are worn.
