In case there are any other alumni associate members who are daily fee paying like Michelle and me, I wanted you to know that I saw Casey yesterday at our sand clinic and asked about the green fee increase that took effect October 1. Casey confirmed that the green fee rate of $65 applied to all alumni associate members WHEN THEY PLAY IN A 9 HOLE EVENT, e.g. Thursday 9 hole play, Sunday 9 hole mixers, guest days, home exchanges etc.
If we play at any other time, we pay the increased regular alumni association rate of $150. There is no 9 hole rate except for Thursday morning regular play, mixers etc….
At this stage, Casey said that all of the pro shop checking us in should know about the $65 green fee instead of $75. So if you are charged more than this, let me know.
At the Fall luncheon today, the membership approved dues in the amount of $74 for 2020. Membership dues have actually decreased, so I hope each of you will renew your membership.
To renew, please mail a check for $74 made payable to "Stanford 9-Hole Golf Section" to me at 635 Hayne Rd., Hillsborough, CA 94010 so that is received by November 1.
Many thanks in advance to those of you who send your checks right away, and especially to the 10 ladies who gave me their dues checks at the luncheon today. If you decide not to renew, we will miss you next year, but please let me know soon so that I don't continue to email and call you.
